An important lesson for busy people.

Here you go everyone. A post. Featuring one of my trademark gifs. This one with the Steampunk theme. I’m proud of it.

The important lesson I speak of in the title? My full time job has prevented me from drawing for ages. This holiday weekend, I was finally able to draw a gif again, and let me tell you, it’s incredible how much better I feel. This gif is my most complicated one yet, and my most detail-intensive, it took a lot of patience and planning. But it’s so nice having finished something. What I’m saying is, no matter how busy you are, it’s important to take the time to do something you like. I always get grief for having a hobby that is indistinguishable from the rest of the time I spend on the computer. My hobby is as sedentary as my lazing about, but as I’ve finally figured out I need it. I need time to finish something good.

The new Alex Verus novel is out, I might write down more thoughts on this book and series when I finish it.
